Classes

MMA, BJJ and Kickboxing.

Timetable

All classes are based around MMA, the Kickboxing classes cover the stand up striking aspect and the BJJ classes cover the grappling aspects. If you are a beginner and want to train MMA, you need to start with the BLUE classes and once you are competent in both of these areas you can then add the GREEN classes to merge them both together and gradually progress to the RED.

Beginner Friendly

Classes suitable for everyone, great classes for beginners of any fitness level and also for those that enjoy a single discipline of training. Get fit while learning new skills.

Advanced

Suitable for anyone with adequate experience in both kickboxing and grappling. Gum shield and groin guard is required, along with the adequate sparring equipment. These classes involve more advanced drills and techniques. Contact us or speak to a coach if you would like to try these.

Competition

These classes are for those that want to take their training to the next level and look to join the ACE Competition Team. Invite Only, contact us or speak to a coach if you would like to try these.

Women Only

These are female only beginner class taught by a female instructor. These classes are great for women who prefer to train alongside other women. The classes include fitness, basic techniques and light contact drills. Note other classes are mixed male and female.

Beginner Friendly

Kickboxing

Length: 60 mins


You will learn how to punch, kick, knee and elbow. In this program you will learn the basics of attacking and defending strikes, and progress to learning combinations, timing, set ups, footwork and head movement.


Classes consist of stretches, fitness drills, pad work and controlled sparring.


Equipment Required - Boxing Gloves, Shin Guards, Gum shield and Groin Guard.

*Equipment not essential for TRIAL PERIOD.

Beginner Friendly

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)

Length: 60 mins (Wednesday 90mins)


You will learn the gentle yet arguably most effective martial art. The program consists of BJJ in both No-Gi (any sportswear is worn) and Gi (Kimono Gi and Belt is worn). This program is primarily based on grappling. You will learn how to control an opponent from both top and bottom positions, along with submissions from various situations.


Classes consist of fitness drills, partner drills and controlled sparring.


Equipment - for No-Gi Sports clothing without zips, For Gi a Gi Kimono is required.

Not essential for FREE TRIAL Period.


Gum shield and Groin Guard recommended.

Intermediate - Advanced

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

Length: 90mins


MMA is where the arts are blended together. You will learn how to take an opponent down, how to defend an opponent taking you down, wrestling against the cage, grappling with strikes and learn submissions effective in the sport of MMA. 


Classes consist of technique drills which develop muscle memory, live drills to help turn the technique into skill and sparring to learn how to utilise the techniques in a more realistic situation.


The MMA Program is classed intermediate to advanced as it requires a basic level of both Kickboxing and BJJ.


Equipment: MMA Sparring Gloves, Shin Guards, Gum shield and Groin Guard.
